Fire!

Today has been a long day.
This morning on my way to work discovered I had a flat tyre meaning I had to spend my lunch break getting a replacement fitted. Luckily there is a tyre place two minutes from my work but it was still a crazy rush. This afternoon after a very long meeting with my bosses boss I think I have agreed to extend my curent job secondment by an extra two months. I think I've made the right decision but those who I moan to about work everyday probably won't agree!
Straight from work I had to go to the house to meet the man from fire shop who was coming out to give us a quote for a log burner for the lounge and a gas fire for the dinning room. They weren't supposed to be coming till Friday when Stu would have been there but changed the appointment this morning. I didn't really know what I should ask but think I have got enough information out of him that when his quotemail comes in too expensive I will know what we need to look for online.
Today Stu has also arranged a date for our worktops to be measure up and fitted so fingers crossed we will have work tops fitted this side of Christmas (just!).
