Wild weather!

Incredibly wild weather just now - quite a bit of damage in the gales over the last few days, though not here, luckily. We did lose the bonny festive holly wreath off the door, and the bird feeders off the tree, but that was the worst of it! Ollie and I went hunting for the wreath this afternoon, but no joy. He had a great time though. He loves the wind and the rain, in fact any wild weather! He is quite happy to sit outside the back door in all weathers, providing the door is open and he can see you!

Iced the Christmas cake this afternoon then headed into Kirkwall for the service of Nine Lessons and Carols in the cathedral this evening, followed by coffee and hot mince pies! The excitement is mounting!
