Poor Service

We were having pixelation issues with our Verizon FIOS TV. Called for service after I replace all the connectors and splitters in the system.
They came out and replaced the ONT (optical network terminal). Problem solved, but, no menu on the TV and the left the door open.
I got it working by plugging in the correct connector but where is the QC?
