New best friend, Tess!

Trip to Schoenstatt in the Campsies today.

I love this place - so calm, so tranquil, so peaceful, so beautiful. The boys made friends with this wonderful dog, Tess. She was at their heels from the moment we got out of the car and they repaid her attentions by throwing sticks for her over and over again. She seemed happiest when she was catching the sticks mid-air, which made for a few hairy moments when I thought poor Tess might end up concussed after youngest's well-intentioned throws.

Fortunately Tess survived my boys' attentions and she has now been declared 'the most awesome dog ever'. Guess where we're going next weekend.
