Nature's Own Abstract

I could not possibly compete with nature's own abstractions today after a heavy frost last night. This is the ice pattern at the side of one of the pools on my morning walk in John Muir Country Park. The sunset in my extra also shows a lovely delicate palette which is broken and fragmented in the reflection on the frozen Seafield Pond.
