Pittern Hill Windmill

A few more jobs completed on the house today,  mostly around getting the new Hive thermostat installed.  It looks to have gone well enough and we can now turn the heating on/up/down/off from the sofa - and more importantly off/down when we are out.  We took a couple of redundant (i.e. wrong finish) CD towers to the charity shop at the tip/recycling centre and came home with a couple of lighting stands :-)

On the way back we stopped just outside the village so I could take a look at Pittern Hill Windmill - sadly - not in quite the same state of repair as Chesterton's mill but at least it is still there.  The light was not the best late this afternoon, but it should be good on a bright morning. 

Camera on manual as I can't read the menus without my glasses to set any exposure compensation :-)

The bird feeders in our garden are attracting a good variety now the temperature has dipped,  too dim for a good image today but it should be good on a brighter day.
