Date with the doctor

Race day today, off I went to Walton On Thames to take part in the Timelord on the Thames race. Now I run a lot, but this was my first with Phoenix running and I was very nervous. No need to be, I was made welcome, I settled into to the run well but it wasn't smooth going. I suffered with stitches and a bad knee from the outset and a half marathon was all I had in me today.
Medal is fabulous. When you open the TARDIS Dr Who is inside (see extra shot). And the swans who needed to be shooed out the way (also extra) reminded me of when I'm in the new forest and have to shoo ponies out of the way!
All in all a tough day, but worth it for the bling!
