The Last of the Day's Light, Hamsey Lane

The sun starts to disappear behind the Downs to the west of Lewes, with the summits of Mount Harry (behind the large tree just to the left of centre) and Blackcap (between the second and third trees from the left) silhouetted on the ridge.

Taken from Hamsey Lane, connecting the ancient settlement of Hamsey with the more recent settlement of Cooksbridge around the railway station and the level crossing on the A275.
