Thanksgiving dinner in the bird world

The platform feeder has the nuts , seeds and dried fruit that attracts a wide selection of birds from the little male house sparrow here to the single visit from the red breasted nuthatch. ( So excited he showed up again!) The bluejays, juncos, and doves had their lunch earlier in the day . One dove actually chased other doves , a sparrow and even a blue jay out of the feeder. I've never seen a dove behave that aggressively before.
The sunflower feeder was another hit  with the birds who decided to eat out rather than cook. My little chickadee was checking it out with his friends.
