An afternoon by the canal

I decided to take my fiancé out for lunch today as a thank you for supporting me and putting up with me for the last year while I have been studying hard at uni and doing my teaching practice. I still can't believe he put up with the tears and tantrums over the year, it feels good to be starting a new chapter and putting all of that behind us. We had a lovely meal and then headed for a walk along the canal.

All in all it has been a lovely last day of the summer holidays, I need to start sorting things out for the big start tomorrow. It still doesn't seem real, I can't believe it is nearly here!
