Entry Verboten

The 'DOOR' has sprung a warning notice. I am deemed non authorised personnel today, so entry is verboten - suits me beautifully as it happens.

There has been a disagreement in the Dower House about the small, excuse the pun, matter of the washing.
Since I have served a 53 year apprenticeship in housework which includes being in charge of the family washing, it grates to relinquish duties to a man of retirement age who seems to think he has suddenly acquired the qualifications to run the laundry.
The result is we either have a drum so full of clothes that nothing gets washed properly or a drum empty save for one set of gym clothes and a towel. It pays not to remark on this inconsistency, but if foolish enough to question the logic, then the DOOR is closed with the notice.
