Blaise Hamlet

Another away day weekend following Chester. Tomorrow they are playing at Eastleigh but we opted to stay in Salisbury about 20 miles away.

We took a convoluted route because I wanted to do a couple of specific geocaches. The first one was at Blaise Hamlet in Bristol and a lovely little place it was too. It is a small group of nine cottages, surrounding this central sundial. They were built for pensioners in 1809 by the architect John Nash.
