Pond Life.....

Beachcombing on my own, taking photos with my phone,
when suddenly, I tripped up in the sand.

To make things even worse, my mobile and my purse,
Both shot out of the confines of my hand.

You'd think that I'd know better, they couldn't be much wetter
'cause they landed in the water, as I wandered.

Now my battery's corroded, the sim card's been eroded,
and the money that I had, has all been laundered!
