Angus Fence

Storm Angus last weekend took our Fence with it, this is the replacement £600 that could have been spent on more interesting things at this time of year!

Friend Katie had her brain op on Wednesday evening. It has been a aworrying time. In the end the op took 6 hours. She has two holes drilled in her head, one was to Darin the fluid from and the other to insert a shunt. All this necessary because in March an idiot on a motorbike drove at her on the pavement. she still walks with a limp due to the leg injuries, but they have improved over time. Her brain has not. Her memory was shot away! Yesterday she was unusually in good spirits and feeling fine, she said. Today, it all came back to haunt with head pain necessitating morphine and nausea. Being in Kings, in London, she had no visitors today so I played the virtual visitor and face timed this evening, which she appreciated. Hopefully she will be allowed home tomorrow, although I think this strong friend of mine is actually enjoying the rest!
