Nowhereisland

Was being towed around Mount's Bay this afternoon. It is an art project part of the Cultural Olympiad summer 2012 by artist Alex Hartley. It is an Artic island which Alex Hartley had the idea of bringing to English waters for the summer of the Olympics. On its journey from the Arctic it passed through international waters, whereupon it was declared a new nation - Nowhereisland - with citizenship open to all. For a closer view click here.
