Opened the tent to a clear blue sky and breakfasted on eggs and bacon. Wandered a little around Kippford where the tide was so far out you could not see the sea. Then to Cream O'Galloway for the mandatory ice cream binge. Caramel shortbread, banoffee and chocolate being the favourites this time. The children had a great time running in, under and on the hay bales, whilst Nick and I absorbed as much caffeine as possible in preparation for an evening spent repeating 'will you be quiet!' 'Go to sleep!' And the old favourite 'when I get you home....'
