Out for a Morning Run

Winter returned this morning, with fresh snow on the surrounding mountains.  Needless to say I have had the fire going all day.  I have been meaning to photograph these lupins for the last few days, and I must say they are looking good.  This runner told me that the sides of the track are simply beautiful.

After lunch 4 ladies turned up to play croquet in a howling gale!!!  We had a good game, with lots of laughs.  We packed up after one game, as it is pretty cold and windy.  

Tonight I am heading to the Lakes Wanaka Centre to watch the concert put on by the local dancers.  Little 'h' is with the Jazz dancers.  Looking forward to seeing all the local talent that abounds.  Let's hope that summer returns tomorrow.
