Smiles before the tears

We had such a good day. Haven't spent time with these friends for a long time. The three children, Lily, Ryver and Gray, have always got along well. Sitting in the garden having a good old belly laugh was an afternoon well spent.

As we were leaving, the owner of the house had to go an pick up her car from the garage. We were all getting our stuff together and the kids were hiding from us. In the end I found them and brought them all down the stairs. I had Ryvers shoes but not his socks, so I sent him into the garden to get them.

What I didn't realise was that the wall of glass that is the back door, had been shut and neither did Ryver. He went full pelt into the glass wall, bounced back and fell straight to the floor, chaos then followed. As I ran to Ryver, so did everyone else. I picked him up and thats when I saw his nose was bleeding heavily. Thankfully it isn't broken, but what a shock for us all. Poor little Lily who doesn't like blood at all, really panicked.

I am backblipping so I can say that he was fine after about and hour and his nose finally stopped bleeding after about 20 minutes.
