Silk Screen Printing.

I have been without the internet for 4 days, so am now catching up. Of course Blip comes first ! Recently I have been involved with community art projects, organised by Kettle's Yard, Art Gallery, in Cambridge. Today I went along to a workshop and an exhibition of some of the recent projects.. Our camera club took a series of photos of certain districts and some were picked for postcards of the chosen areas. Then the local communities were invited to make a silk screen print of where they lived. Also on show were the art class paintings, all ages, and the ceramic door plaques we made at our community centre, including my first effort which came out reasonably well !  I didn't make a print today but I did enjoy the free refreshments on offer.
