Graffitti
This time on Al Diyafah Road, or 2nd December Street as it is now called... nice to see the Municipality doing this in other parts of town. G & I will walk along the road and take pictures. They have a very different theme to Karama.
It's been a busy day with an early start. First off, to the clinic for my blood tests - having "fasted" for eight hours... the nurse then said it was OK to drink water, in fact it would have been better. Ugh!
We then drove over to Volvo to deliver the part for my car and to collect the one that is being replaced. I found a supplier in Holland who will give me back 240euros if I send back the old part!
Went to IKEA for breakfast! I really needed it by this stage; then home to catch up with chores for a new week, except the movie we wanted to watch (Trolls) was on earlier in the day rather than late afternoon, so off we went for that! A nice fun movie with great colours on the screen!
Had a look around some of the shops. Black Friday is starting to take a hold here, so there were a number of shops offering bargains. I ended up in a music store though, and had a go playing a Taylor guitar that costs nearly £4,000!!! The mother-of-pearl inlay and wood were just gorgeous. The sound was pretty good too! Made me want to go home and get my guitar out, except we had to call into the hypermarket for a few things, and then by the time we finally got home, it was time for dinner!
Another weekend has flown past; but we have done a lot of things, unlike last weekend which was a bit of a write-off. We have a long weekend next week on account of UAE National Day. :D Can't wait. Already a few things ear-marked to get done...
