Looking Back Towards Home

We live in the village you see on the hill, although you can't actually see our house in this picture. The photo covers the first and last bit of today's walk.
Yesterday we (Rusty and I) discovered a  forest road I didn't know existed and today we investigated. About 3 km along the road I recognized where I was. I'd walked the road from the other end a year or so back.
I've been playing around with my photos a little more than I usually do and hightened the drama a little, but only a little. I loved the way this cloud concentrated the focus on white house, the first house in our village.
