Whitby Harbour

Today we had our last morning in Whitby. The sun was shining better than it had all week to celebrate(?!) our departure. The main blip was taken from the swing bridge, looking south into the harbour; the extra was taken from close to the holiday apartment just before we left. It's a telephoto shot of the Abbey taken from virtually the same vantage point as Thursday's 2nd extra (the night shot).

On the way home we stopped for lunch in Eaglescliffe with some more old friends of the Editor from uni days.

What a super week's holiday we've had - and we only had to drive 70 miles from home for it!  :-)
