Lights!

Today George came down to see me! I met him at the train station and we wandered round the shops and Christmas market before having lunch.

In the evening, George, Rebecca and I met two old friends from my old school and we went to the Hobbit pub for some Gollum cocktails! Mine and George's two friends also came along which was great. Later on in the evening we decided to spontaneously go to the union pub and it so happened that Selasi from Bake Off was there! We ended up waiting around for about 2 hours before he arrived but it was well worth the wait and we had a great time drinking and chatting!

After watching him sign biscuits for a while we decided to all head home! The walk isn't very long but it was 1 in the morning so very dark, we got caught up in a torrential downpour and were soaked and freezing by the time we'd got home! I'd say it was worth it for seeing my friends and of course Selasi!
