paddling!

I can't remember the last time I had a paddle in UK waters!

Suzy P declared today a beach day and 6 girls (and one little girl!) from the WI went to Frinton for sunshine and sandcastles!

except the sun decided not to really shine most of the afternoon and the tide was in when we arrived but eventually we did get down to the beach for paddling and it was blissful, I haven't felt so relaxed in quite a while.


Last night I watched Hugo and it was exquisite! maybe too chilled for a dvd tonight, maybe some reading and then bed.
