2016 Saturday -- Morning Rainbows

On California's Central Coast . . . this morning . . . all the colors of the rainbow and at moments two of them, sunlight, and sprinkling rain to begin the day.

Then, most of the day was pouring rain.

And just before 5:00 p.m., the sun did an encore. That big ol' ball of orange fire dropped below the clouds and did a flaming final act and then it was gone.

We've enjoyed this day immensely.

P.S. Cuba announced today the death of Fidel Castro. Our granddaughter Ashly and her new husband are in Miami about to depart on their honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean. I sent her a text to tell her, "What a monumentally historic moment to be in Miami!"
