Oyster Catcher,Surat Beach

Well another huge day. Home but exceedingly weary. Started the day with a huge beach walk hoping to see The Hooker Sea Lions, only saw two, They are an endangered species but there is normally a lot on this particular beach with their pups at this time of year. What a disappointment . This oyster Catcher t was  trying to attract us away from where his mate was nesting up on the sand bank
We had an early lunch and set off for home by 1pm. Took a circuitous route  and photographed another beach. I am not long home and am ready for bed but gee what a great weekend we have had.
