A Bugs Life

In an effort to explore slightly more further afield than Craigtoun Park and the Beach in St Andrews we headed off for a wander round Cameron Reservoir today. The website promised a path all the way round the reservoir, what we found was some path and heck of a lot of mud. Not too bad for me in my walking boots, Mr Crafty however didn't fare so well in a pair of shoes he only bought last week. Driving back after the walk the smell of muddy bog quickly overtook the air freshner in the car.

There were a lot of swans and a few other types of birds on the reservoir but what we saw most of were dragonfiles, butterflies and bugs. Nobody wants to see a very fuzzy shot of a dragonfly or a butterfly that won't stay still so I'm going with this assortment of bugs enjoying lunch.
