Winter path

Shorter walk today as had quite a lot to do at home, but I still managed to make the start of it uphill.
Had 4 friends round for supper last night, and as usual we had a lot of laughs. I was quite pleased to have them to my house so I didn't have to go out in the cold.  I have known them for years and they have long since learnt they have to do a lot for themselves as I don't have a husband to help with drinks etc.  Makes for a very relaxed atmosphere.  We cover numerous subjects in our discussions and are not afraid to disagree with each other.  Also catch up with the doings of offspring and mutual friends.
