Advent

Got quite a lot done today - steamed the Christmas puddings, made some cake and the traditional beef in Guinness.  Ironed, then changed a light bulb and dusted the fitting.  No wonder the lights were dim! I also finished the bit of work that has been hanging over me for a week. Hurray!

Went to the hospital but didn't get to stay long.  #3 son was there too.  came back via Cameron Toll and now trying to find something interesting to watch in tv.  I may adjourn to bed with the book.

Start of advent and I saw my first Christmas trees up in houses on Liberton Brae.  Way to early!  I have new advent candles.  I need a gold one for the middle though.
