Teles coping

Today we headed out into the heat to go to family fun day that was going on at Castle field. On the way we stopped at The Boat Deck for the best chips I have ever had in Pompey (and I have had a few in my time)

It was a strange event all in all. There was a lot of inflatable things and rides that burned holes in parents pockets along with creating upset for little ones who do not understand that the fun has a cost. There was also a market that was really a bit of a car boot.

The big draw though had to be the entertainment which was simply full of variety. There was the standard dancing act, a marching band as well as a display by the firebrigade on how to cut a car up and get someone out of it. All this though was pretty much insignifiacant compared to the display put on by MajorWrecks.

We bumped into so many friends down there that we ended up being there all until we were full of sun and exhaustion. The journey home seemed to take forever involving carry two boys who share a birthday with the occasional rest stop at a telescope.
