Christmas trees and palm trees

A very busy day today ... wow, sleep tonight is going to be a thing of beauty.

Advent and thanksgiving service today, was very moving indeed.

Followed by rehearsal for next weeks Christmas pageant. The kids are just adorable and I think it's going to be quite heart-warming.

Got home just in time to eat a very late lunch before choir practice. I iced a cake for friend Sharon, to take round after practice.

Martin and I went to celebrate with her and she was delighted to have a cake made especially for her. Hasn't had one since her 40th birthday and she turns 62 today! Glad I was able to do something special for her. We intended to stay an hour and ended up being there for 3 1/2! Needless to say it was lovely.

Grateful for lovely new friends we can share life with :).
