thank you for the days

Blip has been through some significant changes over these past 1000 days. A relatively benign place to begin with, before the harsh realities of the commercial world crash-landed among us and disturbed the peace and quiet.  Then we became noisy (in a good way) and restored some sort of equilibrium. 

Many blippers have said positive things about blip in that time - how much it adds to their lives and so on - and there’s little more I can add on that score.  You know it’s a special place or you wouldn’t be reading this.

I mentioned blip to someone once and they said I must be a serious photographer to post a photo every day.  I’m not, never have been and never want to be;  I’m having too much fun.  Fun is creative and therapeutic.  

I’ve met and got to know some wonderful people.  Thank you all for your encouragement and friendship.  And a special thanks to Anniemay.

There’s a line in the film ‘Shadowlands’ in which C.S. Lewis says “we read to know we’re not alone.”  I think we can borrow that - we blip to know we are not alone.
