Homeward bound

After a fantastic time in Oman, we returned (8 hour flight) to Heathrow for a 4.5 hour wait for our connection to Newcastle. This bauble hanging from the ceiling in T5 is Heathrow's token gesture to Christmas. Then under an hour flying north, metro to Gosforth daughter's where we picked up the car and home to a cold house. We got up in the night to put socks on. An electric blanket is on my Christmas list.

I'm sorry for the lack of comments but we had a wifi-free 8 days. I'll be backblipping when my fingers have thawed out.
