Nuthatch

A lovely bright sunny morning today.  I went back to Elford to see if the water level had dropped sufficiently to be able to use the boathouse hide again.  The water had indeed dropped back to normal levels but it has left the boathouse and the benches rather damp and muddy.  It didn't deter me and I was treated to appearances from the resident vole, robin, great tits, chaffinches, wren and nuthatch to name but a few.  No sign of the kingfisher today.
