Down by the estuary

A late morning walk to pick up a few food supplies. Where was the promised sun I thought when I went out? Then, I saw the clouds parting and there it was although it has been brief and it's been quite windy and rather cool. I spotted Mr/Mrs Curlew down on the estuary. It seems to have some damage on it's beak. Another hour in the garden this afternoon and a visit from the garden designer to discuss planting in the spring.
