Monday: Ssshhh ... Sleeping Wasp

After last winter's rescuing of wasps from the log burner, this year I'm checking all logs before bringing them in and this afternoon I found a wasp hibernating in a small log. She's safe and sound now, the log is next to the insect hotel and will stay there until next spring.
I took my car to Amlwch this morning to have a new cam belt, drove the courtesy car home and expected to have my own car back by this evening but just had a phone call that the motor factors delivered the wrong part to the garage so will have to wait till tomorrow.
Weather cold, dry and calm, sunny and overcast. I spent the day making jewellery waiting for the phone call from the garage ...
