Van Cortlandt Park, The Bronx

We attempted a 1.5-mile trail in Van Cortlandt Park today and at first we enjoyed a quiet, rewarding walk through verdant forest. But then we ended up getting slightly lost. Luckily we found our way to this serene lake next to the main golf course office, where we were able to reorient ourselves.
