Great Scott!

It has been a tedious day of admin which is the unsexy bit of being a photographer (if there are any sexy bits) so by the time it was starting to go dark I was going stir-crazy and had to head out for a wander. Fortunately, I took the camera and a tripod.

Walking up to the gardens, I wondered if this view was possible now there is no longer a bar in the way as there has been in previous years. It was really nice of someone to switch on the lights of the Scott Monument just as the Star Flyer started going up.
