Always liked that song, and this Christmas ornament, given to me many years ago by a friend, always reminds me of it.  I had a busy day today...

Chiropractor - check (and feel soooo much better)
Hair cut - check
Feeders filled - check
Fire started (twice, oops) - check
Suitcase taken upstairs - check
Santas unpacked and settled on the mantle - check
Tinies being audtioned for the Travel Delegation - check
Packing ---- nope, not yet.


The packing will be done tonight as we plan to leave very early tomorrow to begin the 900 mile drive to Alabama.  We'll make the drive in two days, planning to arrive by early afternoon on Wednesday.  The funeral service is Saturday, with a visitation the prior evening.  We've decided not to take my MIL - she doesn't remember that her son has passed, and it's unkind to keep telling her.  Memory loss provides a measure of protection, perhaps the only good thing about it.  

I'm taking a camera with me, but have no idea what I'll photograph.  To say that I am lacking inspiration at the moment is an understatement.
