George's stocking

I had a great walk today with Jenny! We parked at Helsington Church and walked down to Park Moss, through Helsington Wood, on to Sizergh Castle for a cup of tea and then back up to the church.
All these years living here, and I have just discovered a really good circular walk with no road work. And the sun came out for us eventually.
Then home to clean the windowsills ready for my Blind Man. Jenny thought it was unnecessary as he wouldn't be able to tell, and I see what she means even if he wouldn't! Anyway there was a lot of dog fluff under the washing machine so it needed doing.
Then I finished George's Christmas Stocking. He'll only be 8 months so I don't know what he will make of it all but sadly we won't be there to enjoy it with him, though I expect we will get some FaceTime.
Just off now to run Rob to Heysham for a marine survey, I'm not going with him this time so he will probably see something amazing. Generously, I hope so!
