First, thank you everyone for the lovely comments, stars and fave to yesterday's blip.

Today's weather was, err, somewhat different. It was dry when we went to the Botanical Gardens for some fresh air, but by the time we dragged the kids away from the indoor exhibits and gift shop, it had started to rain. It stayed dry enough for us to enjoy the excellent 2020 Vision outdoor photographic exhibition. But then the clouds let-rip and we spent the rest of the afternoon sheltering in the Chinese Gardens. So lots of pictures of wet plants and water-fowls.

Earlier, I saw this subject with her beautiful red shawl and managed to get her attention for a portrait. I was far too macho to be shooting this on 1/25th shutter speed, but I just about got away with it if you don't look to closely...
