Hot!

Today was the rescheduled date for the race for life - a searing hot morning to be running (especially when due to a twisted ankle and two weeks of holiday indulgence I haven't so much as sauntered anywhere for over three weeks)

But I made it, just, in (just) under 40 mins and ran 80% of it.

This is me a minute after finishing - didn't know wether to laugh or cry, but race for life gets you like that - so much sadness, bravery, hope and love.

For the rest of the day we sorted the pool out with some chlorine and changed some of the water so it's safe to throw the kids in - just in time for the weather to turn :-)
