The Promise of Summer

Nothing conjures up summer quite like the promise of strawberries and ice-cream. Today I walked past the residents' vegetable gardens and saw beside the path that our village gardener has planted strawberries for us to enjoy.  I picked a small flower with these tiny emerging green strawberries attached so decided to macro them.  No, they are not enlargements.  No  clever layering or "faffing" here - more "drag and drop". The truth is, I liked each of these pics, but am out of extras again! Tried to recover some, but didn't get anywhere. It sort of works.
