Peaceful and serene scene today but..

yesterday morning at 4.30am and less than 1km away startled residents were woken to the sound of a geyser erupting up to 30metres high at the edge of the Lake.  While this is a thermal area,  this is not a normal occurrence.   Thankfully everything has settled down again.
