Preserves?

Nope...catered an old fashioned country wedding today and part of the desserts were fruit salad in mason jars. At first I thought this was a crazy idea but they looked pretty cool after they had some syrup added, sealed and stacked on the table for people to help themselves to. Pretty chilly for an outside wedding today but at least it's not raining!
