Glorious blue skies and bright rather than warming sun.
Air temperatures of minus 4.

The door had fallen off at the gym yesterday, so for us to get out to the outdoor (heated) pool this morning we had to have a member of staff to let us out.

So far so good - it was trickier when we wanted to get back into the building. The solution ? Hail the lifeguard on your last length so he could make sure they were around to open up. The prospect of becoming a human icicle didn't appeal.
