Ernest Alfred Wiehl -- This little cherub is Richard's father as a boy.  (His mother Lucile was yesterday's entry.)  Born in 1924, Ernie will be turning 93 years old in January!  Still a very active man, he continues to play golf and he enjoys spending time on his boat.  The most courtly of gentlemen, and the very nicest father-in-law any girl could wish for.
