Party Lunch

The waiter kindly shows my grandchildren how to unfold their napkins before the start of my birthday lunch today. The people behind them are some of us reflected in a wall of mirrors as we took our seats.
It was wonderful to have so many family members together! My brother and his wife joined us with their two daughters, my nieces, who are both in their early twenties.
The lunch was delicious and we had a lovely big room all to ourselves, which meant that the little cousins could get down and play when they had finished! I gave them party bags which kept them amused!
We had our coffee by the fire in comfy sofas before coming home for another birthday cake!!
