Warm friendship

It was very warm in the pub where we lunched today as this fire threw out a great heat. The dining room was refurbished recently and they put the fireplace in the centre of the restaurant where it cheers the whole room. Low sunlight streamed through the windows making it a very attractive room. We were lunching with one of N's golfing friends with his wife. He too was an oil man, a rival company, so there is always teasing to and fro as to which was the better company!
