Brace of Pheasants

Geoff has decided he doesn't want turkey for Christmas. So partly as a joke I told my chum who was going shooting on Monday that I would be in the market for anything available. He rang me yesterday evening to ask if I was serious as he had a brace of pheasants in his boot. He handed them over this evening just outside work in the Marylebone Road! The things I bring home on the train!
